Nice work! I hope the 'founder paint' will work out with some of the custom unit paintjobs that have been discussed. Did anybody notice that the Founder Atlas seems to be missing the right shoulder LRM-10? Add the Cat's new nose, the Hunchy's new chin and I'm starting to wonder if the Founder mechs will have some sort of not-available-after-launch equipment...

Any equipment they provide most likely will not confer any significant tactical advantage that's unavailable to the non-paying player. :P

There is nothing in the announcement to suggest they would have different hardpoints.

The Atlas having one less missile rack is likely just an oversight from using an alternate piece of concept art.(we only get to see the tip of the iceberg of all the concept art that gets made)

The paint scheme is most likely for Piranha Games.

I agree that those mechs have been altered more than the Hunchback and Jenner.

The Atlas is missing its Right Torso LRMs... maybe that barrel is a Gauss Rifle instead of an AC/20?

its already been stated the atlas' LRM was changed due to the problems with hit location and a weapon spread across 2 torsos. The Atlas' LRM now fires 2, 10 missle bursts as seen in the videos. I assume the original Atlas will have the rack on the right torso removed as well.

Being that I will most likely hold onto this mech for my entire MWO career I'm torn between the Hunchback and Jenner, it kinda depends on if the bonuses apply to just the stock variant or all(any) of the chassis variants.

My observation... may mirror others, but I've set aside money for the ELITE package already...

Catapult - new nose, probably a sensor package, BAP or ECM of sorts
Jenner - probably comes with a stream SRM missile system vs the dumb-fire SRMs or a MASC system installed
Atlas - advanced optics with gauss rifle?
Hunchback - added chin... umm? more leg room? LOL! sorry, probably a sensor package as well given the senor array on the head
Kinda curious why the other 'Mechs were not chosen for the "Founder 'Mech" options... but oh well...

All in all... I can't wait, but must... time off request has been put in at work and my GF will have to do without for the week LOL!

Bonus only applied to the "Founder 'Mechs"...

"Exclusive custom "Founder's BattleMech." This 'Mech includes a lifetime, per-match C-Bill booster." looks like only the 'Mech of your choice...

The Atlas looks like it might be the updated version with the XL engine, Gauss Rifle, 2 Med Pulse Lasers, 2 ER Large Lasers, and 1 LRM20.

Because of the visual LRM chages compaired to the original concept.

Seriously considering the Atlas for the first time, then founding my own pirate corp.

Since I'll be getting a Cicada anyway, I might as well get the Atlas for a backup heavy hitter, and the pre-match c-bill boost will make it so much more affordable.

And where is the "We didn't give Raven a beak for performacne reasons." That catapult has a beak... :o

That's not a Catapult, that's a rare Mama Raven! She launches her spawn out of her dual BR15 Baby Raven launchers out to 550 meters. The babies then burrow into your communications and radar equipment and gestate until the end of the match. =D

Really dig the pointy cat. Just noticed the head of the Atlas looks a LOT like the 2009 trailer version too. Nice.

The Atlas shown in game has been missing that since we first saw it. Think it was just a visual layout change though, the 10 tube is an LRM 20. The Founder version just looks like it's been updated to take that change into account.
