Alright, so we all know that, regardless of the Dev's intentions, Conquest mode turns into Team Deathmatch, with the points being secondary. So how do we fix that? I have no idea. In fact, I'm here to talk about an idea for a new mode: Destroyable Objective.
Here's the idea: Let's say we have a new city map, much larger than River City, say by four or five times. In it, there is a spaceport and a seaport. The seaport is on an island, and the spaceport is on top of a cliff. One team tries to destroy the fuel tanks and hangers at the spaceport, while the other team tries to destroy the cranes and bridges at the seaport. If you wanted, you could add captureable objectives too, like a hospital and a communications array.
Another idea, pretty similar to the one above, is Attack/Defend. In it, the defenders have to try to protect the fuel tanks and hangers at the spaceport, while the attackers have to destroy it. Maybe in this case the spaceport could actually be a military base with turrets to help the defenders. Maybe.
Anyway, those are just two ideas. Neither will really be able to totally avoid turning into Team Deathmatch, but at least it will be a bit different.

I couldn't agree more. We need more mission types and their should be bigger rewards for completing objectives as well. If you capture an objective you should get a bonus for that as well as any time you spend completing time to adjecent to target (escorting target, standing near a flag to capture it, ect) objective. I love this world and think that with all the different options I'd like to see more game types and less mech building restrictions.
