Are you guys going to put the Panter in the game? And if so can you get rid of the SRM4 and put jump jets in and med lasers to replace the SRM 4? The reason i ask is because i love the panter from the board game and RPG. A light mech with a PPC is unexpected.

My sister got a phone call from a panter once, and my Dad blew an airhorn into the phone to get rid of him.
All kidding aside, Dean, I hope the Panther makes it into the game, too. It is a great little Mech, but if it does make it into the game, expect the standard SRM 4 pack to be there. Nothing to say you can't mess around with it in the Mech lab, though.

I would love to see a mech that makes and supplies trousers.

If we could vote our 'Mechs into the game, the Panther would get mine in the light 'Mech section. It's the design I run around with half the time in MW2:Mercs.

I'd endorse the addition of a Panter. Also perhaps a shoer and a shirter.

Could always take a cicada and build yourself something along the lines of the 3C variant.

Eh. The Panther is a pocket medium, slow but somewhat agile. The 3C Cicada is a glass hammer; scream in, smack a *****, scream out (or just sit at the edge of your engagement envelope, annoying the enemy to death with marginal shots).
I imagine the Panther will be in the game soon, but not at launch. It's a fairly iconic IS machine used in droves by the Draconis Combine (alongside their Dragon).

I would rather have an awesome sword wielding Hatamoto.
Give us swords please and restrict them to the DCMS.

Nice Light 'Mech Sniper so long as you manage your heat well enough. The SRM4 is there to crit any light harassing 'Mechs as it does not have many sinks to go a full energy boat while being equipped with jump jets or firing the PPC.
The Awesome is a great Assault class sniper that can fire a pretty steady barrage of PPC fire with a battlefist to punch anything that may come close.

I like the Panther but I rather see A Wolfhound or a Valkyrie.

I think that the Panther should be in the game (as well as the Wolfhound and the Valkyrie)... they are not only iconic to the Battletech universe (Khan Phelan Kell of the Wolves-in-Exile pilots a Wolfhound), they are good choices for players who want a light mech (for the price) but also want a mech that can stand toe-to-toe with most of the mediums out there. Also, none of these mechs are turtles... they're actually rather fast, but still deliver a fantastic punch. Great for backing-up a light lance.
