First of all to have conquest a viable game mode.
You will need to have much larger maps. Forest colony is much too cramped already.. also having some automated base turrets say a medium laser and an lrm 5 or srm2.
Right now conquest is just more of a brawl.

Double heat sinks.
Would be nice if you rounded their performance it would be double.
Now it is a 1.4 sink that takes 3 slots. I would like to see it at least 1.5

Single heat sinks
Single heat since I cannot even contain the heat of 2 medium lasers. This is not lore friendly. this is not Battletech friendly. .. this would only be a problem if you jumped like 120m or more

Long range missiles
Are overpowered . They are currently damage of 1.7. This should be lowered to at least 1.5. Which is still overpowered but at that level would be okay.

Short range missiles.
These are actually pretty good. I would say they do a little too much damage. But are fine.

Streak short range missiles.
I don't care what game you were in , Streak short range missiles never always hit the torsos. .
And they never stayed so grouped together. I think these need to be spread out more.

Lasers are good.

Weapon ranges. or rather minimum ranges
Ohh my God please for the sake of pick up gamers. List the minimum ranges.

Repairs and rearm .
Bring it back. And if someone does no damage on their team. Fine them. At least make them contribute.

Did I say larger maps ?

A machine guns does damage so does an AC/2. If a machine gun does not rock me around a AC/2 should not either...

Ferro fibrous armor.
In real Battletech it gives you a 12 percent increase to the maximum armor.
In this game it mostly just takes up critical locations.

Ecm
Should not be used like a cloaking field.. it counters stuff like bap, tag, Artemis.. as it is, it acts
kinda like a stealth armor system.. maybe I am wrong with this one

. Mostly the game is just great . But with these changes I think the game could get a lot better

I guess you weren't around for the missile nerf fiasco? They nerfed missiles to 1.4 and rendered them practically useless.

People no longer feared them, you could literally swim through waves of LRMs or SRMs and take minimal damage. Then there was the streak.. oh god the streaks.

They added spread to streak fire to prevent them from only hitting the center torso. Result: both missiles would completely avoid the target and curve to either side.

Understood, the missile suggestions just reminded me of last months nerf/buff spree.

I do agree with the ECM statement.

Machine guns do not do 2 damage, they do 0.04 damage per bullet

12 shots of machine gun come faster than 1 shot of ac/2 point made?

Well based on physics, the momentum of something really depends on the mass of things. This is why a wrecking ball is a single big heavy ball.

If you replace the big heavy ball with lots of tiny light balls that totals the weight of the big ball, those tiny balls won't do **** to a wall.

I agree that double heat sinks should be 50 percent more effective than single heat sinks. Double heat sinks take up three critical spaces and then only are 40 percent more effective.
