Anything that can go wrong, will.

So, I had my K2 pult outfitted with stock engine, endo, 16 DHS, near max armor, 2 ERPPCs, 2 MLs, and an AC2. I was mostly doing ok with it for a while, but hit a nasty losing streak. So I switched it up, dropped in a 185 engine, 2 AC20s (6 tons of ammo) and 2 MLs. First drop I got taken out early by a lucky head shot (the guy who dropped me was as surprised as I was), and the second drop was... Alpine.

Anybody care to top that one? I'm sure somebody can.

It's happened to everyone, and it keeps happening to me on a weekly basis.

This would happen every time I bought a new chassis about two patches ago. I would work towards one for a while, buy it and go tweak it in the mechlab, get a load out I was excited about and go launch a game. Without fail, CTD.



Thankfully it has stopped doing that.

So you joined the other smokestacks and created your own mushroom cloud?

I hope they implement a way to see/choose maps because a mechwarrior usually fits their mechs with consideration to the:
-Mission
-Enviroment
-Guns they know how to use

I had the same problem with a ERPPC Death Knell on caustic.

There's something about river city when I play on it. It's not that it comes up any more often than normal, or anything to do with the spawn locations or what mech I'm driving. It's that if I'm the one to pick a direction to go, the other team, seemingly without fail, almost always goes the other way. It's to the point where I almost *beg* someone else to pick an initial direction, just so that we actually have a chance of running into the enemy team.

I have honest-to-god stalkers I think. Not sure who, but I had a few matches one night where the folk on the other team were just plain giddy to see me (and being complete arseholes to boot.)

The "Hey, it's Kraven, let's shoot him!" folks I don't mind. We shoot each other with love, so all good.

The guys who seem to think I am one insult away from cracking like an egg... not so much.

I was running the K2 at frozen city. I saw this Stalker and I started throwing PPCs at him and his second PPC shot slamed right into my face killing me instantly.

One time my finger slipped (sensitive mouse) and I alphaed my 9 mlas 4P across my entire team at the start of the match. Talk about looking like/feeling like a moron.

Get sick of using a balanced build thanks to brawlers and splatcats (but mostly splatcats), then switch to a brawler myself... Next drop puts me in alpine.

Happens to me every single time.

Sounds about right. I was playing around with balancing some of my hunchies out, then getting nothing but brawl matches. As soon as I decided to go brawler, I got Alpine 3 in a row. Still managed to do decent on some of them, but still..

I always seem to do this when I go from SRMs to LRMs.

Whenever I stand on our base to delay the enemy from capping, there are at least 3 enemies (at least 2 of which are Atlai) with me and my allies are off on the other side of the map chasing squirrels. And I inevitably die in vain just to watch our team lose to getting capped.

Had drop that I didnt realize I was in a commando, thought I was in an Atlas. It was a brief and painfull drop that ended with much deserved mocking from my merc mates. On a positive note did end up with a name for my commando....failmando.

So I was messing with my TBT-7k. I decided to try out blinding players with flamers while shooting them with an LBX and SRMs.

As soon as i hit launch, i got Alpine. D:<


So I changed back to 2 LL and 2 MGs. I got Alpine again! "SUCK IT MM!"
