Would there be any interest in a Mech Leasing plan?
My thinking is: 1. Trial Mechs don't really give a player a feel for a chassis' true potential. 2. It's expensive to buy a chassis and mod it just to find out it doesn't fit your style.
Plan outline:
1. Limited time use of one variant (either time or number of matches).
2. Unlimited/no cost, use of MechLab during lease period
3. At the end of the lease period mech and all components are returned.
4. Accumulate C-bills at normal rate
5. No or reduced XP for the variant being used.
6. Accumulate GXP at normal rate.
I enjoy the free aspect of the game but this I would pay out MC for an option like this (unlimited use of MechLab to find your dream machine) or a C-bill cost of say 125% of the base Variant (or a sliding scale based on the weight since mods to smaller mechs are cheap to purchase but expensive to modify compared to base cost).
What are peoples thoughts?
