Trying to use the system profiler for the beta application but it keeps giving an error when it gets to "probing microphone" and just sits at that point forever.

Is the system profiler required or is there another way to collect my information?

I'm using WinXP Service pack 3 if that matters.

The only problem I had with it was it mis-reported my RAM. But then, its Vista 32 bit, so of course it did.

I corrected it.

Maybe you should try and plug one in. No problems on my side (Win 7 64 Bit, Headset plugged in).

I managed to fix this guys.

You actually have to create the directory C:\WINDOWS\Performance\WinSAT\Datastore

It's all folders, do that and it oughta work. Did for me anyway.

You could enter your Data manualy
Just fill out the lines below with your data instead of mine and paste it into the profile:

OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
System RAM: 12286 MB
CPU Name: AMD Phenom™ II X4 955 Processor
CPU Speeds: 3200
Physical CPUs: 1
Virtual CPUs: 4
Video Card Description: ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series
VRAM: 1024 MB
Primary Display Resolution: 1920x1200
Multi-Monitor Desktop Resolution: 1920x1200
Microphone: False
Language: ***
Free Hard Drive Space: *** MB
Total Hard Drive Space: *** MB
Windows Experience Index Rating: 7.4

I modified mine a bit, because the profiler will not find Crossfire graphics or multiple Hard Drives.

From other issues it is worth noting that it doesn`t detect more than 1 partition. But oh well, I will just leave it be at 30 GB of free HDD space.
