Often after I had clicked launch on the front page to drop into a game, I would alt-tab and do something else for 10 to 20 seconds whilst all the players connected and the timer counted down and the game started.
I noticed when doing this, the chance of me getting the yellow screen bug seemed to increase exponentially. I'm playing in fullscreen mode if thats relevant.

Obviously I have stopped doing this now and have no real wish to continue trying it to see If I can reproduce it further as it wrecks the game for me

I've only ever gotten this bug once and I do alt-tab out often, but I run in Windowed mode.

You say you've stopped doing that now, has that helped so far?
