Please make something with light mech (Raven, Jenner).
To see a situation when this light mech go ahead of formation and not simply go, his kill heavy and assault mech - its impossible.... (lagshield - circle of death)
Return falling or something else...

I can't really figure out exactly what it is you're trying to communicate.

Lightwarrior online? Reminds me of LRMwarrior online, or fastback online, or gausscat online, etc. etc.

Lagshield and lights are flavor of the month, to the point where many are considering them to be a crutch mech.

Anyway, I swear it was no more than 4 weeks ago people would make these same exact threads about jenners.

In personal experience, most people that complain about lights circle strafing them to death are the same guys that try to out circle the light, it's not going to happen. Minimise the amount of time you keep your back to them and shoot them as they pass your fire arc.

It kinda feels like everyone is complaining about everything, LightWarrior Online, AssaultWarrior Online, ECM is op, ECM is not op, conquest mode is a complete wash.

It's interesting to say the least.

Honestly, I kinda like it when people disagree with each other, it usually means there is a good balance in one way or another.

ECM needs to be un-F'd

Other than that its not terrible except conceptually. There are a lot of philosophical balance arguments, but that is it, the game is perfectly playable.

With no R&R who cares?

I see no more than 2 assaults in a game ever I see at least 4 assaults and if not 5 heavies, every single game.

Game is full of 45kph PPC stalkers. Wonder why there's suddenly a lot of lights are op threads? Medium/heavies complain how suddenly there's stalkers destroying them because they can't manage to outmaneuver them in their 40 ton lighter and faster mechs, and assaults crying about lights because they can't manage to back off into a wall and stay near teammates. LRM boaters are crying about ECM because LRM boating now requires team effort and only works as a secondary weapon if running alone.

Everyone has their arch nemesis. If you don't play every sort of mech, your counter easily feels like broken and OP. This isn't unique to MWO.

Personally I love having 4-5 stalkers in enemy team, they are so easy to outflank and outdodge if sniping. Right now playing mobile heavies or mediums feels best for me since they can do well against both lights and assaults.

fully agree with salm here. and this is how is in a lot of games. every unit has another unit that can counter it in a very effective way..this brings balance when you put more players togheter. otherwise everyone would play the same invincible unit.

personally i prefer too a mobile heavy these days...well...if my game would work...

Assaults used to fear mediums, triple SRM6 Cent-As and Swaybacks, as well as K2s.

Everyone screamed out of their Atlas until we got engine limits.....and don't give me that "they were doing the light's job" crap, because a pimped light would still be faster than a slas swayback back in the day, 116 was about the top speed....some guys would short heatsinks and get up to 120, but that was it.

They can be annoying but unless you are last mech left you should have some backup / another mech with you against a light. Even then you can hit them with someone big and ballistic they will usually go for someone easier.
