So current arguments are as follows:
No more sync drops!
No more 4 person premades, go down to 2!
No more Premades vs Pugs!
No more Custom Mechs vs Trials!

Taking that to it's logical conclusion:
Why can't I get into a game?
No More separate queues!
What happened to the MWO community?
I still can't win a single match!

Have fun flaming!

PGI needs to make money therefore they need to make it fun for the most people. I am not most people. I have a team yet I also solo queue here and in league of legends neither is a real problem for me but most people play casually. Therefore thats where the money is. So expect much, like the economy, this system to change to bring in the cash flow. Your individual thoughts are irrelevant this is majority rule...

To those that drop in pugs in groups anyway I ask "What are you afraid of?" go drop in 8v8. If you could gather 3-4 people and say "TS is so easy stop being lazy" then simply gather 4 more -__- and.... stop being lazy...

If you say "I only want to group with people i know" then your arguement is just like the pugs, "the pot calling the kettle black"
we have a queue for 8 man teams and one for pugs so why do you need to drop with pugs? True they should have simply had pug queue and group (any size) queue but until there is voice keep it separate after that you can filter out of the asswhipping machine that is 8man queues with a better appreciation for the pug scene and will probably be better for the experience

A big part of the problem right now is the 'beta' or incomplete feature issue. This is a beta, but its also a playerbase recruitment part of the development cycle and the current situation is pretty punishing on the players that they are, or should be, trying to recruit into the playerbase. It just makes good sense to bandaid out a simple solution that keeps the game fun for new and casual players until they can get a more robust matchmaking system in place. Pretty simple really, institute a solo only queue and an anything goes queue that is basically the same as the pre-phase 1 matchmaker.
