People have been debating RESPAWNSSZS!!! or NO RESPAWNZZZ!!!11 for a while now, and that people who die early in a match have to sit through (A) watching their team lose in the end, or ( B ) watching their team win without them. People should get the choice to either stay and watch, or exit, and play another game.

"Gawsh ideot, there's no moar CBILL penalties... weetard..."

Yes, but the playtime penalty remains. If I'm murdered by a gang of ballerinas in the first minute of a match, I don't want to wait for my mech to be READY. If you leave after you die, you mech should be readied automatically, so you can get back to the fun without the horribad trial mechs.

The Improved Suggestion
While the match is still going on, you can play for a fee of 5k cbills, and you gain no cbills during the new match. A note could appear on the mechslot saying WARNING: MECH IS DEAD IN A MATCH, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RECIEVE CBILLS UNTIL THAT MATCH IS OVER AND YOU MUST PSY A FINE OF 5k CBILLS. CONTINUE?

I want to keep playing for fun. Not cbills.

Aye i would like to see my mech available to ready up immediately after a match, even if i exit right at the end i still have to wait 10 seconds or more to requeue.

And sure i get it its only 10 seconds but i like grinding my cbills and playing with my friends!

No. Ever heard of suiciding?

Hop in, scratch their paint, die and jump into another match because of no waiting penalty. It was abused to no end on trial mechs and I'm sure it would reappear, even doubled by the fact there are no repairs for now.

And people suicide still.
Just because some will abuse it, doesn't mean we shouldn't have it.
(Pencils can be used to kill people, take them away! TAKE THEM ALL AWAY.)

And on that note, if they suicide, let them do it, he'd get torn to shreds in a moment anyways

The timer is there for a reason; to prevent people from spamming matches to farm c-bills.

So..uh..NO SPAWNING...and NO SPAMMING MATCHES.

That is all. Good day.

I said GOOD DAY, Sir.

It took me awhile to figure out what the hell you here trying to say. I had to read other posts just to make sure I guessed right.

NO

Your mech stayed unavailable until the end of the match. That is part of the game. There are more mechs to chose from use them.

Then I propose a compromise.
While the match is still going on, you can play for a fee of 5k cbills, and you gain no cbills during that match. A note could appear on the mechslot saying WARNING: MECH IS DEAD IN MATCH, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RECIEVE CBILLS UNTIL THAT MATCH IS OVER. CONTINUE?

EDIT: Did no changes, clicked save, realise I'm a dolt.

Yes, I'll just go spend all my cbills on another mech, just to play faster.
I don't pay to win, I play to win.

If you be dying that quickly, go spectate and mayhaps you'll learn something.

I do alright, I win and lose half the time, but those times where you die early isn't angering because you lost. Its because you have to wait 10 minutes before you ACTUALLY play again.

No. That's ridiculous, just because I want to PLAY THE GAME doesn't mean I should have to purchase a whole new mech to do so.

There's always people who die in a match, and all you amazing pros at the game don't really get it.

I die, and I accept the consequences of my failure of an action.

However, crying about you not being able to respawn so you can half hazardously run in and die again, is not fun.

Return to your abomination of respawn and repeat game.

Implying I run in and die, rushes exist, and the slower mechs (hunchbacks) get picked off first.
Honestly, I don't get it. Here I am wanting to get into the game to have fun, and you people look at me like I want mechs to aim down sights and have care packages.

And to clarify, if you thought I wanted respawns. No, I didn't.

No idea what engine you are using, but a Hunchback isn't a slow mech.

It seemed you wanted respawns, as your mech sits in a penalty box with a dunce cap on it until the match is finished calculating results.

Unless I missed something hidden within your massive respawns and "I shouldn't need more than one mech to play".

I apologize, but that is one hell of an implication you want respawns, and your foolishness of dying should not be hindered to run forth and die more.

However, you can exit the match by pressing the ESC key while spectating. Your mech will still be in its penalty box with a dunce cap on it though.

You have 4 trial mechs you can run around in that you don't even pay for.

So, what's the issue?

Dude your mech is a vehicle and while in a match it's locked because it's carcass is in that match. That's something the dev's decided to sit on because the alternative leads to free-lance afk c-bill farming. If this inconveniances you then too bad bro. Plently of folks here have given you the productive alternatives and you do not seem phased so allow me to say it plainly to you. THIS IS NOT BURGER KING AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE IT YOUR WAY. That is all...

Trial mechs aren't good, at least compared to my Hunch config, I don't want for the match to be over to JOIN ANOTHER MATCH WITH THE SAME MECH. (caps to clarify, nothing else) Paying for another mech is also kind of ridiculous. hell, I'd even pay a 5-10k fee for joining before the match i died in prior is over.(as said in the improved suggestion) Respawns are a bad idea (for assault and our current map selection at the moment)

BUT MOMMMMMMMMMM I WANT ITTTTTTTTTT, jk

That's why its a suggestion.

That's why I compromised (5-10k cbill fee for joining while carcass is still in a match | no cbills gained in the newly made made)
