Client Fails To Start (And Patcher Fails To Close)

The patcher starts normally, but when I hit play, it minimizes (but does not close). Looking at task manager, the client process has started, but for lack of a more detailed explanation is not doing anything. If a un-minimize the patcher and hit play again I get a 'you can only run one instance etc...' message (which makes sense given the process has indeed started, even if its not doing anything).
This problem has appeared suddenly on a machine that has otherwise been running the game fine for several weeks.
Some basic specs in case its helpful to anyone:
Win 7 64bit
GeForce 670M (latest drivers)
i7-2670QM
Given the persistence through re-install, I'm guessing this might be being caused by some bad state sitting either in registry, or something else the uninstaller is not cleaning up properly. Anyone encountered something similar?

if you start with "bootstrapSentinel" ( games / PG / MW / Bin32 ) sometimes it works.
just noticed it some days ago...
i can give you my list what i did try and what didnt help at all :
- reinstall MW:O
- closed everything besides MW:O ( including processes like all the crap what starts with win7 and isnt in use )
- deleted all my anti virus programs
- removed all firewalls
- gave MW:O exclusive access at my router
- reinstalled all my drivers ( see below i did even reinstall win 7 )
- started it with my admin win7 account ( it starts with admin rights at my normal account )
- reinstall win7 again
- tried just to install MW:O ( nothing else just that ... since its my gamer pc it wasnt that hard

- installed WinXP .. 3 normal games after closing MW:O i couldnt start it again .. ( rofl )
- delted cache cookies everything you can imagine
- tried to play MW:O in another network ( my neighbours WLAN .. since i know his PW.. that were the last thing i could do.. i didnt believe it will work.. but i wanted to try it )
my rig :
amd 965 oe
ati 5870 oe
8 gig ram
ssd + normal
win 7 64 bit / 32 bit WinXP ( since i tried that too )
on my gaming laptop MW:O is running totaly normal :
i7
ati 5870x2
16gig ram
ssd
win 7 64 bit
so its almost the same hardware ( except for the cpu and double graphiccard ) ... and since that problem came out of nowhere i wont believe its my hardware at all.
have fun finding a solution...
if iam in the mood i play on my laptop... but i think that wont happen that much... iam realy done with PGI since they care a ******* **** !
edit : happy christmas / xmas to all and your fams

I tried rebooting several times and nothing seems to work. Again, it worked fine a few hours ago, now it wont work at all and nothing has changed on my system.

To fix this problem I deleted my PatcherLogs folder and reran the executable (had to stop the patcher task first).
It recreated the folder and it works flawlessly.
Sorry.
1. Go here : C:\Games\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online\Bin32
2. Delete the PatcherLogs Folder
3. Run the MechWarriorOnline.exe
If it tells you a patcher is already running, go to task manager and kill the MWOPatcher.exe*32. process and try running the game again.
-----------------------------------
Same thing here. Played last night and closed normally, now tonight I run the program and get the very short splash screen and then nothing. No icon in tray or window. But if you go to the Task Manager there is a MWOPatcher.exe*32.
Windows 7 x64

rename (or delete if you have courage ;-) the folder
C:\Games\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online\USER\Shaders\Cache
I will update this post when I have made further experiences with this try.
