You are absolutely destroying the new player experience for new players that are mildly interested in Mechwarrior Online. This can't be overstated. The mixing of premade teams with solo players on an involuntary basis is poison. MWO will be a niche game at best if this doesn't change, because solo players are just going elsewhere.

If solo players want to play against teams, give them a way to do it, but give solo players a way to not play against teams. Two friends and one family member that gave MWO a try complained about being steamrolled repeatedly. I have been playing solo a lot lately and many of the matches have been bad; as in 1 or 2 on the team doing 300-400 points of damage and the other 6 or 7 on the same team doing less than 100 point combined.

Yep. I have a few friends that I play with from time to time, but a lot of the other people that I tried get to play complained about the matchmaking system being unbalanced and "weird."

They absolutely need team mode and PUG mode as an option. It makes no sense whatsoever to throw a bunch a random people against an organised premade team.

As i said in my "i'd rather not deal with the superstars" discussion i do this for fun. Getting punted by a swarm isn't much fun so if Piranah wants this game to successful they better deal with this issue. I too have friends that are long-standing MW fans (from the days of the first box set) which have given MWO a try and bailed after a very short time.

Economic newsflash for the Devs.....it has to be fun to attract and retain casual players....when the superstars pile on it isn't fun for the noobs....balance it soon or this game dies a painful, early death from lack of retention. How much has the company invested in the product? How long until you recover the investment? How many PAYING customers do you need?

You know, I don't have a problem with this as the new user experience does need to be improved. However, there is something to be said about joining a teamspeak server and actually grouping up to learn the game.

Perhaps once C3 is fully functional, this will ease the growing pains the new users are experiencing, but until then, I think this is a valid option which should be available.

Many of my personal friends stopped playing because they were tired to play as a solo against prmeades or well organized groups.

1. All solo players in Category 2 a) (0-250 matches) should play against solo players.
2.Why dont you seperate the solo Players into categories like:
a.) under 250 Matches= 1st category
b)250-1000 Matches = 2nd cateory
c) 1000- endless Matches= 3rd category
3. once a solo player plays in a team the categories above wont count.
4. Also why dont u calculate the Kill/death ratio in to the match seperations?

All in all its pretty sad that the mwo developers didnt pay that attention to the match making balances.

I dont like absolute clear matches as 8:0win or loose. The matches which ends 8/7or like that are the best and most joyfull

ALSO FIX THE ECM. MY JENNER BECAME USELESS AFTER THE STREAK MISSILE SPAM OF THE ECM LIGHT MECHS!
