It really shouldn't change how you play. You should always play like the other team is a team, that's how you win.

i mostly pug and it is obvious when there is a coordinated team with coms. they move differently and respond more quickly.
effective groups that use in depth teamwork appear to be fairly rare. otherwise i would not be catching so many enemies by surprise.
one team just needs to be slightly more coordinated or lucky than the other. then one mech goes down, and then a second. with 2 mechs down you have theoretically lost a quarter of your fire power. this game is very prone to the steam roller effect.
i die violently on a regular basis, but if i take down 2 or 3 enemy mechs before i go, especially early in the match, it all but guarantees a win.

If knowing that half of the opposing team is on comms while none of yours is does not change the way you approach the match, you're doing it wrong.

This game is about tactical role warefare...often the individual will get stomped and rightly so. Run with a group.

I would like this to be added as well. Would like to know what I'm facing one way or another.

So you have to trick people into playing ?
I disagree, more information is better. If a problem arises because of what is revealed, then they should fix the root of that problem.

My point was that you should ALWAYS play like the whole other team is on comms.
If your not, your doing it wrong.

I'm not opposed to the groups being shown on the 'end of match' scoreboard. Not during the match, though
