That's a bit crap considering it's Christmas and their main competition are offering all this:

Its a beta, yet they have banner ads on major sites telling people to come play, are selling premium time and are selling as many vanity items as they can push out.

The only reason they still call it a beta is so that they can cover their ***.

Edit: I got an urban mech with a cigar and a ****** top hat! My christmas is merry indeed! ...even though the only reason I have logged in in a while was to pick up my sexy urbie mech...

Thats what I was thinking but then I realised how easy it would be to do a 10% discount across the board on all Mechs or a 10% increase in xp gain for first 5 battles.

Are you forgetting that they gave everyone about 8 million cbills with the last patch?

I mean, it was a bit early for Christmas, and it was to offset them giving bonus cbills to new players, but it was still a cool 8mil.

I bought a K2 with it, loaded it with endo, DHS and a xl300 I had laying around. Crammed in some UAC5s and medium lasers and now it's pretty much my favourite mech. I'd call that a pretty decent Christmas gift.

What'd you buy with your 8mil?
