DHS how many??? It says that it takes 3x more space. So 3 slots???

Bingo. Inner Sphere Double Heat Sinks take up 3 slots. I forget how many becomes the cutoff point, but at a certain point getting single heat sinks is actually a better idea then doubles due to space limitations. The 10 in the engine count as 2.0 heat dissipation, and any others count as 1.4 heat dissipation.

its more about the tonnage saved than the space saved.
