let me get it all straight. granted access starts in july. lets give in a 2-3 month testing period before it becomes "live". that means we are now in octoberish. the cbt time we are placed in now is 3049 clans invade in 3050, well start. do we clan tech off the start or is the timeline. going to get push back

The CBT starts tomorrow.

Early access for paying customers(who may or may not have gotten into the CBT, but are guaranteed the early launch access) starts July 17th, presumably only a short period before the full public launch.

Factoring in "2-3 months" of testing lands us in July/August for launch.

We get era specific tech. We get faction specific tech. IS cannot have Clan tech at this time.

March of next year is when the Clans invade the IS proper. Clan pilots will get Clan tech. IS pilots will have to wait for reverse engineered and LosTech equipment to appear as per BTU history at this time.

I think the Clans will be here but ....
will we play them or get their tech ? probably not right away.
but it does seem to be the right time frame.

You'll see clan mechs eventually. I think the devs are planning on having everyone play with the more basic stuff for a few months before we get crazy with the clans.

The game Timeline is today's date (plus 1037 years). Just look in the Announcement forums ISN NEWS FLASH threads to see what date they are at. yesterday they post a news flash from May 21, 3049. The Clan Invasion hits Inner Sphere world in March 3050.

So CBT starts tomorrow May 23, 2012.

OPERATION INCEPTION assets and early game access will be available for ELITE or VETERAN Founder's Package players starting July 17th.
