I hope they change their mind down the line. I cant see the benefit of having 2 seperate accounts for each side of the battle. Now I completely understand that the money should be different for the clans, so you dont just have the people who saved up buying the 10 they want on launch and taking away their chance for actual profit. But things like bobbleheads, and possibly permenant color and patterns if they allow them later, as well as unlocked garage slots wouldnt transfer to a second account. I dont think this is a very elegant solution. Is it so hard to have one "character" for inner sphere earning c bills and xp, and a seperate one for clans earning clanbucks and xp on the same account?

I am looking, it was an official dev roadmap, said planned to begin in may next year. Lot of stuff to look through if anyone has it handy they could link it.

I like how STO handles it, your account has multiple characters comprising two factions, Federation and Klingon, and your cash currency is available for all characters. Soft currenct(C-bills in our case) being accrued per character.

most cosmetics/unlocks unlock per faction (so some skins could be for Is only and some for Clan only)

I've read the roadmaps and haven't seen anything stating that. I'd suggest you link us to that first before we start discussing it.

Why would the Clans need a different currency? Also - if the Devs are implying that no one outside of the Clans will ever use Clan Mechs, expect to see a lot of complaints and extremely mad players.

So somebody makes up something that could be huge, gets asked for a quote or proof or something to say it's not made up, and then you want somebody else to take the initiative to disprove someone's imaginary thoughts? I would say you are what you say others are, but I don't know what kind of bumpkin slang you are using to deride the others. Also, Merry Christmas!

Dunno, sounds very elegant. Makes more sense than a Clanner going Merc going clan again back and forth. Also means those who wanna straddle the fence fall behind those who are going whole hog for one or the other.

I just hope they can enforce Clan Conduct, elseways, there will be no reason for anyone to pilot anything BUT clan, and wooops! Back to playing MW4 again already!

Regardless, I will wait for word from on high before getting my knickers in a twist.

The point is that the energy most of the forum posters expend in frothing at the mouth and spewing venom left and right could be put to more towards taking that time to actually read and research for themselves if they bear enough interest in the topic. It's amazing the depth people will descend to try and ravage someone over a simple statement, opinion or error in a post yet they won't take an extra minute to read / research something themselves. And we wonder why the world is going to hell in a hand basket ><

The point is that we have all read all the roadmaps, and this talk of separate accounts is news to everybody. It's not the we don't believe the OP, exactly, it's just that as far as we know this information has not been released.

It's different when the topic is make believe and the OP is imagining things. You can't do a forum search for something that has never been posted. This might actually be a viable solution, but you can't go around saying it like it's already been decided and you want to change it. The responders to this post have been EXTREMELY calm because they know it's fake/delusional/imaginary. This kind of statement is what rumors and misinformation is made out of.
