Hi fellow pilots

I'd like to ask any of you having experience driving C1 Cat if such build I designed has any sense.
The main idea is to stay behind and shoot dual PPCs using advanced zoom, and when forced to fight in close combat to defend yourself using 2 medium lasers (laughable,I know) and 2 SRM6+Artemis.
What do you think?
Details:
Chassis Name: Catapult

Yes,ASRM is how the Mechlab application marks launchers with Artemis system installed.
Well, after ~12 games I have to tell you the build is rather successfull - each match at least one kill and plenty of assists.Heat is not a problem as long as I shoot only PPCs or mediums + SRMs,bah,I can do even 2 alphas.
As designed and expected this Cat can do its job well on both long and short distance. The only issue is PPCs minimum range, sometimes I'd wish they'd be potent in close combat too.Sadly,ER PPC are too hot,but more tests are required.
BTW - who is the troll?

You could try the same build with 1 ERPPC and 1 PPC. As long as the heat is to your liking you would benefit from 1. increased max range to harass enemy LRM boats etc. 2. increased damage at range. Even when you can reach with PPC, damage decreases with range. With ERPPCs having a greater range, they will have less damage loss at PPC range than PPCs (hence more damage above 540m) 3. 1 ERPPC that can be used under 90m for greater alpha when you have a clear shot and/or are doing last resort kill shot alpha to survive. Just a thought.

Sadly, even one ER PPC is too much to keep heat handle in any reasonable range.Well,so the build must stay as it is.

Well,more findings:
PPCs can be shoot with SRMs together and still the heat is manageable (1.21 HE),which is quite nice result considering 50 damage output. In case of heat warning just stop shooting PPCs and start to use medium lasers instead (1.59 HE).Lone shooting SRMs have 2.43 HE,lone medium lasers have 2.11 HE.
Shooting PPCs + 2 Medium Laser should be avoided,it deals only 30 damage for HE 1.17
So,the weapon usage is as follows:
Long range - 2 PPC
Medium range (90-270) - 2 PPC + 2 SRM6,if heat if too high 2 Medium Lasers instead of PPCs
Close range (below 90) - 2 Medium Lasers + 2 SRM6,ocassionaly PPCs (occasionaly means ~50 m distance and an enemy having red armor)

PPCs can be replaced with (ER) Large Lasers, and the build still works nice. But from my observations PPCs works better after all,20 pinpoint damage is better than 18 spreaded damage.

Another option I'm going to check is to exchange SRM6 for SRM4 and add 2 jump jets.
