I would want to say that its a little expensive for my blood, but then again, the old system was a straight rip off. Also, if you spend something like 20 bucks, you'd get 10 standard colors out of it, which could make for (10^3?) combinations, if my brain isn't math stupid today.

Works for me, and now I'll actually spend money on it.

Finally an excuse to actually spend MC on paint and patterns.

This is how it should have been from the first day it was implemented.

I also note that the "permanent" unlock cost for "premium" patterns is less than twice that that of what the current single use cost for a "premium" pattern is [namely, the phranken pattern is currently 750mc, presumably it will only be 1250MC with phase 2, which is great, I have spent way more MC than that just buying Phranken for my various mechs of the same chassis type, and will unlock it for Stalkers and Atlases tomorrow most likely}

That said, it's still good news.

I like it, but patterns should be global too.

I'll probably start buying paints because of this, as soon as I come up with something pretty.


Although I'm not affected, but the refund is a nice gesture, its the little things that count.

option would have been much better.


similar to mech bays now. except you purchase skins, and save them in these slots. u get 2 per mech and have to pay for more slots.

It sucks to have to unlock patterns per-chassis, but this is a huge step in the right direction. I'll be buying myself a few colors this evening. Thanks, PGI.

Seems like our 'Mechs are going back to green.
What does this mean for those of us who've only purchased C-Bux paints?
Do we get a C-Bill refund?
Do the colours we've purchased remain unlocked?
