I just completely ECM blocked a streak cat in to little more than a walking target. I felt bad until I remembered all the screen shake I used to put up with while politely dying in front of them.

I've been consistently getting 400+ damage and living the whole match in my speed maxed Raven 3L. We need knock downs back and some ECM tweaks.

Thank you for proving my sig
Whats the range on a ssrm?

nah you couldnt stay away from the mech, better to get pgi to make a broken equipment formed out of two pieces of TT equipment (one not introduced to the game for two more years and thats just as experimental tech) than learn to stay away from ssrm mechs right?

Just doing your job. Sometimes when a ECM Raven blocks me in my LRM mech I ofc get angry and try to hit him with my puny lasers (everyone knows how that goes) but at the same time commend the player for playing smart :-)

I hated Streakcats just as much as I currently hate ECM Ravens. Every time I see one, I just want to punch someone in the face.

But I'm guilty as well; I run an ECM Cicada pretty often. We really do need collisions and knockdowns back in the game, if for nothing more than to separate the real light pilots from the ones who only do it because lights are broken.

i did capture today at conquest base kappa and we won at the end by capture points... first i did feel bad then i did remember how it felt like to getting base rushed..

serious... why your posting random gameplay situations ? next time shot his/her ears and leave him then..

but nice that there are still ppl arround who have to learn how to play... once you did learn how to play your raven will be able to do serious damage... a good raven pilot leaves the battelfield with 650+ damage ( if he/she doesnt meet an equal skilled light on the other side )

Yep. Buddah's post doesnt make sense to me either.

The OP was the ECM Raven, not the StreakCat. He killed it with ease and states that ECM is a bit overpowered. Very fair and gentle to say the least.

My feeling is that if they fix some of the net code and hit detection (especially with ravens) you would see a lot of the light mech superiority go away. I can consistently kill lights no matter what mech i pilot but I very rarely have to lag shoot due to my system unless my opponent has greater than a 200 ping to me. If this was the case for most I think these kinds of topics would go away.
