So I was thinking about what kinds of modules I would like to see in game, and the module that strikes me as wanting the most is something like this...

Module Name : Softlanding System
Cost : 15,000 GXP
Category: Support
Function : Decreases damage from jumps and falls by 25%.

I am not picturing so much as a piece of hardware, like a mechanical leg brace, but rather an advanced piece of software that helps your machine not crash so hard.

It could be a form of small jumpjet that only activates at the last second to slow a fall so that your Mech isn't damaged. I like it.

I think it should be something like the gas gauge on cars showing Empty but the tank actually having an extra gallon or so in it. There's just an extra bit of jump juice left to absorb the impact.

This is the first proposal I've seen in a while that I would support. +1.

You forgot to check "make votes public" in your poll creation.

Please make sure to remember it the next time you create a poll in the suggestion forums.

It sounds good to me. Handy, but not game breaking. Particularly useful for fast 'Mechs who dash over cliffs a lot and don't want to worry about being legged by the experience.

Good idea. It's a bit silly seeing your jumpjet capable mech's legs flash yellow all the time.

I'd rather have a 'Jumpjet Capacitor' that triples jumpjet fuel but reduces its regeneration rate by half.

I mean seriously, its very silly to see how JJets are now. I would rather be given the liberty to go as high as I please and it will be my own darn fault if I dont save fuel to cushion the fall.
