Hi everyone! New to the forums.

I just registered myself when I heard beta invites were starting (thx Gamespy) and since my old joystick kinda died on me, I decided to order a new one. I went with a Saitek Cyborg fly-5 and it looks awesome! Can't wait to pilot Mechs with that thing. I'll feel like going back to the old days playing MW2: Mercenaries (man that game was awesome). What will you guys use?

BTW, who the hell picked Vhailor as a pilot name? You ninja'd me :P

Although, I kinda expect a Mechwarrior fan to also be a fan of one of the best RPG ever.

my current is a well-used Logitech Extreme 3D Pro... nothing fancy and definitely not new... but I like the feel it has (or at least I'm used to it)

If I'm going to drop some cash on hardware upgrades for MW:O, it'll be for a new video card first.

Hoping to get my X52 working again. Last I used it for MW4, could only assign two buttons. Not sure if that was a problem with MW4 or the driver software not compatible with Win7.

I'm curious as too what people use as well. I too will be buying a joystick for this game and I would like some recommendations.

I am planning on bringing my Saitek X-52... it has served me well for like... 10 years... and is still one of the best sticks out there. Might upgrade to an X-52 Pro, my stick twist has a little slop on it... which I never noticed until I tried to program controlls for Living Legends... What a nightmare...

I may need to bust out the Microsoft Sidewinder 3D Pro (for old times sake) but other than that I have a decent Logitech Wireless from a few years back.

CH Fighterstick + CH Pro Pedals.

I like extremely accurate devices with very, very good reliability over whiz-bang looks.

I have a logitech X3D pro. I like good old-school joysticks. I used to have a Microsoft Sidewinder joystick. Man, I had that thing for years.

I think I might need to get some pedals though...

No, i plan on using a mouse since I'm sticking to the light class. I may be forced to get one later on as I move upwards along the line.

I just have a Saitek AV8R-01. It has lots of little controls so I might not need the keyboard
