I know many here love playing as mechwarriors; but any of you have the guts to fly
1k into the air on nothing but wood and canvas, and duel to the death with other knights
of the air!

if so, then Rise of Flight is for you :P

I just got into this game a few weeks ago, it's F2P with 2 planes (1 allied, 1 German) to start. It's a full blooded sim replete with robost single player campaigns and missions, and of course multiplayer. The graphics are beautiful, and each plane has its own physics model.

as a sim lover, and a history buff, I enjoy this as a compliment to playing MechWarrior.

see you above and over there!

Yes. Had Rise of Flight since its release. Good simulator. Best WW1 dogfighting game out there. It keeps getting better with every update.

Although the buying 'extra' content like planes is getting old. I miss Red Baron 2. That was one cool game. :P

fair enough, I just took that concept as par for the course with F2P games; going to be roughly the same with MWO too.
