Need help with Dual Radeon 7950 settings. IN July and August I was hitting 88 FPS. It has continually gone down hill since. I have done all the normal stuff, reinstalled game, got all the latest drivers for everything. I just cant seem to find a stable setup. I turn Xfire off and on all that.

Anyone have their 7950's running stable? If so can you tell me your:

1. Catalyst settings.
2. MWO Grpahics settings
3. Any User.cfg settings.
4. Overclock settings using Catalyst.

Getting 60 FPS in mechlab but it drops to 40 in game and once I start looking around or fighting it goes into the red very often.

Intel Core i7-3930K (Six Core, 12MB Cache) Overclocked up to 4.1Ghz
16GB Quad Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz
Dual 3GB AMD Radeon HD 7950 AMD CrossfireX Enabled
256GB SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Drive
Windows 8 64 bit.

Thanks for any help,

Please note, that currently CrossfireX is not working for MWO. If you were lucky, it worked during closed beta, but with the switch to CryEngine 3.4 it was gone for good.

Running both cards might seem, like they are both providing to the game by drawing power. In truth only one card is working on the game, while the other is only generating waste heat. In some cases, running CF with MWO will reduce performance, so you should disable it for good, while running this game.

It would be good to know:
- What is your general setting for MWO?
- Do you run a custom user.cfg?
- What PSU are you using to run your system?
- At what resolution are you playing?
- What are your setting for the CCC while running MWO?

We did have some drops in performance over the last couple of patches, but with your hardware the game should run smooth.

i can confirm this.

i had to shutdown 1 of my cards to run MW:O on a constant 40 fps rate ( i have 2x 5870 in my laptop ).

40 fps on high settings
and on my custom settings i have steady 55 fps ( that should you get with 1 card ^^ )
