I was once a newbie, fighting in a trial mech which you can't configure. The result was i get killed all the time. Now to help the newbies out there, I propose that they should be compulsory given a mech that is free, you can't sell for money, or it is worthless on the market, but you can customize and use it to earn C-Bills.

So on the battlemap, every one knows you are a newbie and give you some leniency when fighting you, actually, more of pity than leniency.

To the developers, I am only asking one type of mech and that only one, or maybe two choices given and here are the candidates I propose of the mechs they can pilots. They are plenty of variants, mechs got lots of armor and have hard hitting weapons, only down side is they are slow!

Propose mech 1 is!!

They're giving everyone ~8mill cbills over their first 25 matches, and if you use the free day of premium time it's probably closer to 10million+
It's probably better than giving everyone a free starter mech, since they get to figure out what kind of mech they want first.

I find myself agreeing with One Medic Army.

For the same reason that Florida banned markings and special license plates on rental cars, I don't like the idea of easily identifiable victims in MWO.

Ahem technically these are still mechs..

Lets face it newbies, you got no mech, having a free mech you can earn money is better than nothing!

Of course you shall get kill but hey, at least you die with honor on the battlefield! Oh what am I saying, piloting an industrial mech on the battlefield...

Thats free money.. there is no such thing as free money in the real or online world.. you still have to earn, but in this case you get a mech.. as to what mech... well it is better than nothing!

That's what trial mechs are for.

Trial mechs = Technically cheating.

Having your own mech is more satisfying.. and earn it the right way.
