I would like to OWN colors and patterns once purchased with MC
I would be OK with being charged C-Bills to swap between colors and patterns

ATM I have not purchased a single pattern or color. If you would simply allow us to OWN what we buy and charge C-Bills to swap them out, I would purchase nearly every pattern and color in the game with MC.

I'm sure I'm not alone. I have many friends who wish to support this game with MC purchases. Some of us are even premium founders. We are all excited to paint our mechs but so far all 7 of us have yet to purchase a color or pattern as we do not want to incur that expense every-time we get a hankering for something new.

Great game so far guys. 1000+ games since open beta and hundreds prior. Loving nearly ever minute of it. The 4 FPS bug should be top priority IMO.... its been around far tooooo long.

Anyways that's my 2 cents.

They should only unlock for the Mech (or all of the ones in that Type ie all variants of the Atlas ect) you bought them but I agree it should ALWAYS be a choice for that mech if you paid MC for it..

IF a pattern was a 1 time purchase which I could then apply to any of my mechs (aka stencil) then I'd buy them with MC.
IF a color was was a 1 time purchase that I could reuse later on any mech, then I'd buy it with MC. (possibly re-apply with CB)

I feel you'd get more people buying the items if they felt a bit more permanent.

if it was for every mech you own it would cost a LOT more MC. remember this is their revenue stream.. Mech bays XP to GXP, camo and paints and Cockpit items.. They have to charge us for some stuff or the game is done... It;s either these things of 1 MC per 100 Armor points you need repaired...

I would like to see two options - lower prices (maybe around 50-100 Cbills) for single-use color changes, and then more expensive options to 'buy' the color - either for all your mechs, or for a single chassis or even variant. I've avoided any custom colors because of that, though I did spring for one skin change.
