Quit throwing around the words net code, lag shield and ECM. It's all an excuse. If you don't have someone constructive to say, uninstall the game.

LRMs work with tag, learn to fire a direct fire weapon. All you complainers are the people who used to play streak cats.

i get it, this game has bugs, several of them.
But why oh why, always after a new release of some system, mech chassis or... <insert something here> that must be nerfed, it is too OP...

Get around it people.after spider and ppc/machinegun/flamer buff, i will be counting moments when forum is lit up like late christmas tree, and the topics will be " <This> is OP, nerf it"

anything is op while spammed or boated.

oh, and netcode? yeah, on that i agree, lagshield is OP, nerf it.
Or, actually, learn to shoot those lights when they are running straight line towards, or away from you.

With you mentioning lag shield and ECM....I guess you use a Raven 3L. Just a guess. I dont complain about ECM or lag shield. I dont use LRM and I use the terrian. I use direct fire weapons. Sad when you ask someone what they getting and only mechs mentioned all come with ECM.

But making a thread about people whining is Better than whining ?
And the netcode is iffy at times. I have blasted shutdown lights with my ac20 cat and they take no damage. Doesn't happen all the time but it does occasionally.

Oh, and forgot to mention, i ride stalker, cataphract, catapult, some dragons and occasionally few Atlas'es, so nope, not a light ECM pilot here, while i do admit i have ECM on my atlas, as well as AMS, who the hell wouldn have all the available protection on slow, lumbering and huge target marker?

LRM's, i use from time to time, for ***** and giggles, but mostly, i run brawler fits.
So yeaaah, its pretty much ballistics, SRM's and some pew pew, with some PPC's, so i can pretty much say from experience that all you need, is some skill to shoot those weapons....and hit.

learn to read your targets movement, predict what he could possibly do next and, aim accordingly ahead of him.
also, it helps if you really focus on single weapon type, and memorize how your torso twist and position will affect weapons mounted on your arms, or at your side/center torso and last but not least, when shooting ballistics or SRM's. do-NOT turn your feet while firing, that is sure way to score mishits.

There, end of rant for me. now go, go out an play instead of contemplating on your lack of skill or nerves.

Also, you can buy boxes of tissue from your local store, helps with above mentioned crying.
