what mission got you from old mech games ? missions that you loved to play and experiment new strategies ? that you would play in this moment if you got the chance ?

i loved the Overlord from mechwarrior 4...a full assault/carnage battle..i loved to experiment different tactics/configurations. and it is insane :)

i loved in mech 3 pirates the mission where you are advised to avoid a pirate base (if i remmeber right). going there (of course..who wouldnt go when you know it is better not to go ..lol) will make you face the best npc sniper i saw in these games. It will kill you by head shot if given the chance..if i remember right it is a madcat and i spent a lot of time figuring out how to kill everyone defending that base :P

In Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries, there was a mission where you had to destroy a generator and then avacuate.

I tried fighting my way through wave after wave of enemy mechs and failed.
Then I took my captured Dasher (which I thought was useless until that time), activated MASC, ran to the generator, blew it up, and left all the enemies standing as I ran out of the battlefield to the evacuation point.

It was the most rewarding Mechwarrior experience I ever had.
Not a shot fired and a lot of undertonnage bonus.

MW4:Mercenaries - Tharkad - Overlord
Absolutely epic mission. This is everything that Battletech can be.

Golden spade from mechwarrior 2, wolf campaign.

The one where you have to take out the palace complex. So many things there to shoot and i loved it.

MY fav in MW4 was the desert mission where you allied with Loyalists/resistance forces. So many damn mechs in that mission. I think you had 2 full lances alongside your allies.

too many to mention but to keep it short. any MW2 in zero gravity. MW3 pretty much campaigns 3-4 in and out of bases and the underground volcano run against sunders. MW4 just didn't do it for me but vengence was where i stopped for other reasons other than the missions. good story line in vengence.
