Explanation Of Unique Control Functions?

Is there a guide that gives a good explanation of control functions? Some of the controls are obvious but some are very unique to this game and I don't know how they're useful or when to use them.

Some mechs have weapon doors for their missile launchers: Catapults, Centurions and Stalkers. If you open the doors your missiles will fire with no (less...) delay but the component has 10% less dmg protection.

The weapon doors have small lights in the cockpit to indicacte if they are open(green), closed(yellow) or if the launcher is destroyed(red). Those lights are on the straws in your cockpit view. On both in the Catapults, on the left one in the Centurions.

They are broken with the latest patch, this is a known issue and will hopefuilly be resolved soon.
