[ Couldn't find similar topic, apologies if this has been already covered - lots of different keywords could be used and I tried several combinations. ]

I had a Cataphract and an Awesome. Both have all Basic XP bonuses applied in the Pilot Lab.

1. Sold the Awesome in slot 1.

2. Bought a new Cataphract (the second) which was put in the now vacant slot 1, thus, indirectly, replacing the Awesome.

Possible bug: this new Cataphract has all Pilot Lab Basic XP bonuses applied to it despite never being piloted. Seems that the XP bonuses have been carried over from the sold Awesome unintentionally.

Bonuses are permanent.

Bug or intended "being really nice"? I suspect bug.

During closed beta I did some tests with mech XP where I unlocked up to master, sold the mechs then rebought them and they still had their unlocks - just to make sure that they were persistent.

I don't think it's associated with the slot, but I could be wrong.

That is not what he is saying. He is saying he played an awsome and got experience on it. SOLD the awsome. and bought a NEW cataphrac. The new cataphrac had the experience from the awsome even though he has NEVER PLAYED the cataphrac.

XP is only for each mech, not the mech bay slot.

@OP. This is a bug, you should write a ticket.

The new trial mechs give XP from use. I'm pretty sure the OP describes a bug based on mech slot.

I understand what he wrote - I was suggesting that he had played the variant before and forgotten about it. If not then it would be a bug.
