Ok I have been gone for a while but I am back now due to a new computer and such, However, I don't know what the difference is in these Hero Mechs that you can now purchase from the "conventional" mechs in the mech lab.
Is there a big difference in play style , power and or whatever? They seem rather expensive looking at them. I would purchase one, but don't wish to waste the MC bills on something not really worth the cost.
I used to play a Cat K2 with two Gauss rifles for sniping, is this even any good now with the most recent patches?
Guess all in all I am just kinda "overwhelmed" with all the new mechs and don't know where to go to get back into the game.
Thanks

UNIQUE VARIANTE. 30% C-BILL BOOST
combined with premium time its give 80% c-bill boost and 50% exp boost
for example that hero cataphrack is the only one who can mount 3 ultra ac/5

Ok so all they are really worth is a C-bill increase?
Which one is a good buy though, was kinda looking at the Ilya Muromets (not for three G Rifles though) just seems like it would do rather well.

in my book all mech are good in the right pilot hand,
I can't help you to chose one because I own none
they are the same as founder mech since your a founder, you should have a founder mech witch are unique and give the same c-bill boost, so you don't need a hero one

The hero mechs have no inherent advantage over other mechs. Just different. Though the Yen-lo and Fang are generally sub-par than the other variants. The Ilya and Flame are a lot of fun from what I've seen

Nothing wrong with YLW and FANG. It does take more work and patience to make use of the main advantage of YLW (arm-mounted AC/20, which will experience gains once the greater knockback is added to the weapon), plus I expect another bonus to come to YLW at some point to make up for it's present lack of a melee claw (CBT club/axe rules). FANG is as valuable as any other Dragon variant.
