you forgot to change the exp so that [total matches] * [average xp per match] = [total xp]

you should have 1719 total matches, assuming you just didn't bother shopping those

What FPS are you getting? Your machine specs, too, please?

I ask this because I played over a 1000 matches with p!$$ poor FPS (I am talking about 5 to 8 FPS ALL the time) simply because I could not afford a better machine.

I saved some cash bought / built a machine where I get very good FPS now, some where in the 45 to 55 FPS in game and over 65 FPs in Mechlab.

I have seen my K/D double inside of a month and it keeps growing. I went from 0.35 to 0.72 (still growing).

I get lots of assists, lots of components destructions, lots of spotting and i get killed a lot too. i am not a sniper, and I rarely hold back and I often try to help team mates that ask for help only to watch them wander off after i show up.

I sometimes get 3 or 4 kills a game, sometimes none. There are occasions that I pop over a peak and fire to see the enemy go down in 1 shot, but that is more rare than the ones I work for.

So the increase in FPS and playability helped me much more than anything else, that is the reason behind my questions.

oh it's the pro MadPanda who posts "ask a pro" posts on the newbie forum. I once saw him rage during a game. Guess that's what mad stands for. Panda probably cause he dies so much he's endangered.

KDR shouldn't matter much nowadays with all the alt+f4 wusses. Until they reset the stats and introduce a way of punishing those that alt+f4 you're better off comparing kills per match and win/lose ratio.

It's easy to get a high K/D ratio:

1) Play chees builds only (TIP: RVN-3L ECM 2xSSRM2)

2) Always go for the kill shot.
(TIP: Do not care if you hit/kill a teammate)
(TIP: Time your shots so you get the killshot)

3) Alt-F4 before you die

4) Join 4-man premades and stomp PUGs


But then there is also the option to have fun and play Mechwarrior.
So forget about K/D ratios - support your team - sacrifice yourself if necessary - and have fun

Checking my assist score is the first thing I do post match. It's nice to get kills (D-DC), but I prefer to play as a harasser in Dragons and Cents (plus my Illya) and sometimes the fun is in the havok caused while the team cuts out the lost and the lonely opponents. This means kills can sometimes be a bit more challenging
