already paid 120...

but asking if I would pay finished product full release price for a free to play game in beta is stupid.

it implies in the question that the game is finished product...

In the past I have already forked out 40 to 50 euros on games so unfinished and buggy they were unplayable or you were unable to finish them.

Funny enough one of them was Daggerfall and I guess it was my most played game at the time.

To answer the question, I would probably, but seeing and knowing current state of development of the game and what it has to offer, 2 game modes, 8vs8 (I prefer 32vs32), and 4 maps with variants in, no.

Still the game is alot of fun.

If this was a SP play I would not buy it.
As a Beta and a MMO I have put more than 60$ in to this all ready and will be spending a lot more ones CW comes out.
Right now I pay and play to test and to get ready for CW play.
The mane resin I keep putting Cash in to a Beta is I love Battletech and I want this game to make it so I pay and then Complain like a little baby when I see something that can harm the game.
The one thing i wish for the most in this game would be for PVE and campane with up to 32 Mechs preside.

So if it was a SP game as is I would not buy it for 60$

Current state of development? $60 full price AAA title retail?

Are you kidding?

I'm not even sure it's worth a $15 steam type title to be honest atm.

The quantity of borderline game breaking bugs (netcode, CTDs, memory leaks, etc.), missing content (game modes, in game voice chat, lobby, heck, the main multiplayer mode isn't even in...), and sheer design problems (start UI, Mechlab, etc.) would normally put the current game in a stage of early Beta, if it wasn't for the fact that the cash shop is open and the premium timer running for founders.

The main things going for the game atm are

1) Its franchise
2) Its Mechs' designs
3) Its "potential"

I would not pay £30 roughly $60 for the game as it is now i payed for what it will become not what it is now.

MWO has loads of room to grow and expand and flesh it self out with all most no end in what they can add.

The game as it is now is good but its not enough to be worth a normal AAA game but thats not why any of us founders payed we payed for what it WILL become and that will be better than a AAA.

I happily paid US$60 for this game which has been great value for money as most games are ~US$100 over here in Australia.

Would I pay another $60?
With the way the game was heading before ECM, yes, I would have.

Now?
No.

I have faith (or at least hope) that ECM will be fixed in the near future and I'll reconsider spending more money then.
