And lo and behold a 10-15 fps boost and probably some hurt pulled off of my processor.

When does PGI plan to get this running on our cards? Or better yet, when do they plan on actually using multi-cores and optimizing?

This game does not look that impressive, theres no reason for it to be this sluggish or demanding.

I can't wait till PGI adds in a toggle to turn film grain off. I understand it is a design choice, but to me it makes the game look ugly. I really is a shame because after watching videos of Crysis 3, I get the feeling that this game engine has the potential to look really amazing. Some maps should look kind of dark and gritty, but others say on a bright sunny day should look brilliant, without looking cartoonish of course.

Do you mind posting a before/after screencap? I get decent performance, but I'm curious about the aesthetics.

Thanks in advance if you can.

I too would like to know this from someone who's actually managed to, because I've tried some user config editing and some cryengine 3 "should change stuff" commands that don't seem to do much.

because there are no mods on on the weekends
Itll get tagged on sunday night/monday though

wait... is this a beta or release?
Usually in betas they dont go to the extreme of getting pissy at people for breaking the client. Betas are ther eFOR breaking the game I thought... or thats what Yahtzee told me lol
