Doesn't sound like much but it IS annoying!
No biggie but I'd like the official status to look like it's keeping up with events.
Perhaps the delay is to help stop exploits/macros/grinding. Not many cBill exploits left, though I've seen a few bots STILL plugging away pointlessly.
A more responsive/accurate/timely 'Mech status would be welcome. I know the mechlab UI is going to be replaced. I know the game structure is going to be replaced. I know this is just beta.
However, it would be nice to get back into the game ASAP instead of catching up on reading between matches (I only get through a few paragraphs as it is).
[Mild Annoyance] 'mech Is Supposedly In Match For 20 To 25 Seconds After After It Has Finished.

This really bothers me too. The only reason I can think this might be in place is to help load balance the servers, but if true, that's not the way to do it.

If you notice, the match doesn't end when the victory conditions are met. All surviving mechs stop, controls go out, and the summary pops up. The mechs are still 'in match' until the summary screen goes away (feels like about 30 seconds?) - so if you exit manually before that the mechs are still locked until it is completed.

This is annoying ,but wouldn't be an issue if we had a normal server interface rather than this craptastic match system.

Known issue. The reason why the delay is there is that the Mechs are still ingame until the game ends - and the game does not end until the last player clicks Exit Match on the score screen.
Most of the time, some of the players don't click it - busy taking screenshots, away from keyboard et cetera - and therefore the Mechs are locked in the match until they are forced out of the match by the 30 second timeout.
It has nothing to do with server load or farmers.

After the match all the little repair techs have to fix the mech and touch-up the paint, takes a little while to do that.

Could be because the game hasn't "finished" as somone is still sat looking at the summary screen, therefore locking your Mech in that game until they quit out.
I dunno if this is true, but its a good excuse

This is really quite annoying. I'd understand it if I left early, but if I've sat and stared at the scorescreen until the game folded of its own accord, there's no reason for it to still be in a "game" that no longer exists.

I will never click the exit match button again, just to annoy all you people biotching about it.

That doesn't make sense.
If you wait for the 30 second timeout, the 'mech will still be locked for another ten/twenty seconds. It's more than just waiting for the game to end.
