When I want to start the game, the Mechwarrior:online icon appears for 1-2 seconds, then disappears, and the program disappears from the taskbar.
When trying to start the game again, a message appears noting that there is already an instance of the patcher running.
Kicking the patcher with the task manger and trying to start the game anew brings the same results.
What can be done?
Thank you already in advance for your help.

old bug that was introduced in the last 2 patches or so..
workaround:
make a shortcut on your desktop for the EXE
"...\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online\Bin32\MWOClient.exe"
then right click on the shortcut-> "Properties"
then add this to the "Target" field-> "-nopatch"
So that it looks like this:
"...\MechWarrior Online\Bin32\MWOClient.exe" -nopatch
this circumvent the patching procedure and starts the game.
I have this idea from somewhere from this forum, dont know exactly where...
