1) ECM, I for one feel it's just about perfect. Yes it's game changing, but missile boat online gets a bit boring. However, right now there is no negative to carrying one. I suggest a simple change, it prevents all missile locks (enemy and friendly) when in 'disrupt' mode. Thus those "streak Commando/Ravens' have to make them selves vulnerable (turn ECM to counter-mode) if they want to use streaks/call LRM's down on somebody while circling them. A small change, but adds a negative into ECM.
2) Allow us to configure weapons groups outside the game (in the lab would be great).
3) Allow 'chain fire' to be setup with sub-groups. i.e. if you have 4 medium lasers in group one, let us set them up to fire in two groups of 2, then you could swap between alpha or 2 and 2.
4) Everyone would like more maps here's some possible ideas:
Moon (craters and peaks)
Cavern (stalactites and stalagmites, maybe even springs, imaging having various tunnels to get to the center)
Mountain Pass (Bolders, peaks, etc)
Fortress (Destroyed walls, partial cover)
Heavy Forest (perhaps with a deadzone)
Destroyed forest (with trenches you can move/fight in)
Chokepoint (could be destroyed city)
Starport (fighting amongst hangers (maybe even inside one), planes and dropships
and MORE CITIES !!!!!
And yes, structures should be destructable/burnable (imagine burning down a forrest w/mechs in it and having them heat up).
5) As it stands right now, standing in trees offers no advantages. I'd suggest a 15% miss chance against anyone in light trees and 20% in heavy trees for any weapon outside 200m. This represents the chance your shot would hit a branch/trunk and be deflected.
I started playing Battletech w/Crescent Hawk's Inception, and have always loved it. Thank you so much for bringing back Mechwarrior to us.
