I've noticed some silly things happening with some mechs and their Missile tubes.

You load an LRM20 into your NARC slot and you get a long line of single missiles, but no specs in the Mechlab to tell you that such a thing will happen.

This becomes a problem when your target's AMS takes out each missile one by one without a single missile actually reaching their hull.

The possible counterbalance to that, I suppose, would be added missile accuracy, since each missile follows the next in a stream instead of coming in a cloud of missiles dodging missiles.

Each missile hardpoint should have a specification on how many tubes it has and weapons should be able to be placed directly into exactly which Hardpoint the user would like them to occupy. I also think that they should map on the 'mech where each hardpoint is located, exactly, in the same manner that they map which part of the 'mech you have selected.
I'm not sure if this is a planned update or not, but if it isn't, it should certainly be considered.

Yeah, this has been a source of frustration for me. It works the same for SRMs. For example, if you use a certain awesome that has SSRM-2 slots, and put SRM-6s there, they're launching from two-tube launchers - you get 3 bursts of 2 missiles for each thing. It's pretty hilarious and quite ineffective.
