is 5250 MC which equals 25 $ roughly. So cheap.

Who's going to get the big guy?

No thanks, hopefully for that price it comes with it's own mech-bay... (it's a digital commodity so it would cost IGP nothing to add the bay and would add value) :D

Not I, I have already spent more on this game than I did on XCOM.
Guess P2W is a reality?

I am, fits my play style perfectly.
Also, its closer to the 20$ range. Especially when you consider 50$ nets you 12000 mc.
Of course, its probably close to 25$ if you purchased the lower packs.
I was getting 12000 MC anyway and considering its a perfect fit and permanent cbill post I'd say it would be worth that much too me.

Not sure I understand this. Just because you buy this Mech doesn't mean you're going to win games or even get kills.

More of P2HaveFun/ReduceGrind I should think.... Still it's a turnoff for folks who are not into MMO or MMORPG games.

Guess you don't understand what pay to win is. This mech does not give you any advantages, it only gives you a different hardpoint configuration and a different paint job neither gives you any advantage.

P2W would be something like a super guass that does 30 damage for 1 heat.

Yes it does. Didn't you read the patch notes? the Ilya Muromets mech includes an "I WIN!" button.
And you can't prove to anyone that doesn't have an Ilya Muromets that it doesn't exist, therefor it must!

Of course. With the Yen-Lo-Wan costing 3750 MC, a 50 ton IS mech with nothing special (no XL, no Endo, no DHS, a 70 ton mech (40% more mass), it's 40% more expensive. And it's still IS mech. Now, if we continue this progression, and assuming clan mechs with cost at least twice as much (or even more, a Daishi cost like 3 times a normal Atlas), we can be looking at a hero Daishi costing 15000 MC or a hero Mad Cat II costing 13500 MC.

I spent over 300$ on Vindictus on purely cosmetic stuff and some other nifty nit nacks like lottery boxes and what not. None of it ever really gave me an advantage. Well... then they added the ***** enhancement stones and everyone was running around with +15's but I digress.

And thats not uncommon for F2P games. Theirs a reason games are switching from 15$ a month to cash shop. Because it makes much more money. Have you ever seen how much maplestory makes a month? Its absolutely insane!

I am an obsessive collector. Got a shiny almost new YLW sitting in my garage, barely used. Will grab this guy too.

Or perhaps a reinforced Gauss cannon that does not explode so much and charge 1000 MC for it.... :D

IGP Please do not do this.... lol

Well, I've seen one of them die rather ignominiously so far, so they are out there.

Lots of founders with MC to burn.

Same reason I bought the YLW. ::shrug::

20something dollars for a single mech .. while i ld really liek this game to succeed prices like that make me wish the whole company went bancrupt and I ld be done with being angry at getting nickeled and dimed .. though thats an understatement i guess since 20 dollars is a lil bit more then a nickel (at least for ppl with an average pay grade)

not so micro in my book

anyway one can hope that the upper income bracket makes up for the earnings they blew by alienating not so affluent ppl like me from EVER spending any more money on the game

paints, hero mech prices .. seriously .. at least the cockpit items are more or less reasonably priced .. but then again for the quality of craftsmanship (house banners ...) "reasonably" is still somewhat of a euphemism I guess

well happy spending to those of you without financial limits and a (imho) distorted view of monetary value

Think of it this way. The $20 is basically paying for a mech, and a perm cbill boost. This is to make the grind easier. If you don't want that, then spend the 5k mc on an assault mech. easy. no reason to get *********
