Wow and I thought I pugged because I didn't want to deal with other people and their quirks. In game comms I would turn on, I read the chat line, and I follow orders even if the guy giving them doesn't.

Dang I must reevaluate myself, I was pretty happy with an exclusive pugging winning percentage of 68-70%. Turns out I just don't care.

What exactly is there to win? In the current state of the game, there's nothing really to win but cash and epeen space stats. I'm still going to only PUG and fight with the Team rather than COD off but maybe these Premades should re-evaluate themselves.

Ultimately I don't care about premades in a game. It wont change the way I try and approach my play. What does bother me is premades who drop in pug and then talk sh it. Really, your gonna drop into a pug match, roll them (some may be in there first matches) and then in all caps tell them that they all su ck. nice.

Sorry if you thought you were having fun. You must be wrong. There is no fun in PUGs. Just read the forums. :D

In-game VOIP is on the way. Let's move on, shall we? :)

Many things are 'on the way'. Doesn't stop the current pug experience from being downright freaking brutal. What percentage of new players do you think pug? I'm willing to bet my house it's over 95%. Not a good way to try to get new players interested in the game now is it? No it's not. And it has gotten worse in the last few weeks to be honest. There are more 4mans than ever before and less players - no a good situation for puggers.

i have been trying to form a premade group b/c pugging sucks. people do not communicate and it leads to a really bad time. hence why so many "new" players end up not coming back. it is just not very fun getting steamed rolled all the time. plain and simple, being steam rolled = NO FUN. so that in mind does anyone have a extra spot in their group?

I Pug in WOT. I can't say thats a great experience either. But that's kind of the reason I went out and found some fun people to drop with here.

Honestly, I don't think that in game VOIP will change pugs attitudes about how they play though. Part of being in a team is accountability. For example, if I was playing an assault and everyone ran off and I got eaten by lights and no one came back to help...I would be like 'WTF guys?' And maybe I wouldn't drop with them again. But if I was in a Pug with different pilots every match, I am pretty sure if I called for help someone would just say something like 'l2p noob!" After all, what does he care? He may never see me again.

It's really the after the drop talks that makes teams strong. What went right, what didn't. How we could improve playing together. You won't get that in pugs.

Hopefully I will be proven wrong.

i pug in WoT, it is all i have ever done, i do not find it to be as bad as this, but i might just be better at tanks than mechs.

That said there is no way in hell i would use a public voice comm in the game, the last thing i want is to end up listening to some jumped up little jerk raging in my ear when doing some stress free pugging.

I would use a vent if i were part of a regular team for example so i have no issue with voice comms, but i have read far to much BS in game chats to ever want to listen to those players and as you never know who you are going to get as a pugger on your team so i would never enable chat, something i doubt i would be alone in doing.
