I actually enjoyed my time with all the Ravens, though I only retained the 3L. The 2x was great for harrassing assaults and LRM boats, and I made the 4x into a little LRM/Lrg Laser long-ranger. They were equally effective.

Right now the RVN-3L is the most consistently good Raven because of the game's current state. Come the netcode fix, and the long awaited machine gun buff, and I believe we'll see all 3 used. I personally will likely flip over to the 2X because I don't like Streak missiles. I loved the 4 Med Las, SRM6 RVN-2X. It was an awesome harasser and great and taking bigger enemy 'Mechs with it's awesome torso twist.

Raven 4X once a MG buff happens will also see greater use, because it can once again fill a different role that it can't right now.

I loved my 2x, til ECM made it practically not worthwhile.

2x: 4MPL, 1SSRM2

I also liked using SRMS in my 3L, but now its basically use streaks or get streaked.
