Since we're going to have cosmetic add ons I wanted to see what type of mech hats everyone is most partial to. If you prefer a type of hat not in the list, tell us below.

I prefer helmet, because its normal to wear in mechs, not some wizard caps. :)

lol, maybe not hats,

but i think some external doodads might be interesting to add to the mech.

The original interview in 2009 for MW5 mentioned how you might see more personalized mechs, like an atlas with viking style horns or some such bolted on. I'd love to do **** like maybe get alternate head styles for mechs. Not that i don't like the atlas's present face design, but atlases seem to have a considerable amount of variance in the art as to how their skull faces are shaped, and it might be interesting if that were played with.

I wouldn't mind having a stetson on my Timber Wolf.

Wasn't there a canon mech that basically got a helmet grafted onto it to increase head armor?

This... is... hilarious.... If the designers did something like this as a joke I might actually have to pay for a hat like that.

Baseball cap. Therefore, kills become home runs. That said...you should add a viking helmet to the list. Mess with the viking, you get the horns. :)

On a more serious note, however...aside from the Armored Cowl equipment available in the IS, I hope I do not ever see this in-game.

This type of helmet on a warlord. I had a long and powerful love affair with the AS7-K variant Atlas. Then I discovered that a Warlord is essentially an Atlas with jump jets. Who WOULDN'T want to play with 100 tons of Death From Above?

Not to nitpick, but the Warlord was based on the Battlemaster chassis, and was not jump-capable, unless you modified it. I get the feeling you are thinking about something else...Executioner or Highlander, maybe?
