When you round a corner and see a atlas at med range what is the first place you aim and try to take out?

I usally go for the RT which houses the Ballistics and hopefully an XL engine. I know it wouldnt take much more to takeout the CT but I love to disarm most of the weapons first and leave probable LRMs and MLs.

I aim for the eyes, because sometimes I get a headshot and even if it doesn't ,damage is applied to the Center Torso so its not wasted damage

I never think to shoot at the head for some reason. I need to put a post a note on my monitor to remind me """SHOOT the HEAD""""

Always the eyes, as mentioned above.

Right torso. Sometimes they have a gauss and/or an XL.
Really though, I ought to be shooting the left torso, since the SSRMs or SRMs there hurt, and its a common ammo storage location.

Head counts as CT. The right (or is is left) eye is the only part that counts as a head.

I aim for CT or the ballistics torso.

Generally I go for the RT. But sweeping the legs is nice too. There are lots of mechs out there with paper thin leg armor and a single salvo reducing the armor to orange or red is a good tell.

I usually aim for the legs. They tend to be paper-thin, just like darksier said, and being able to hit them at all angles is a great plus. Besides, it makes the enemy Mech's speed and gyration grind to a halt, making things immensely easier for us Jenners to deliver the final, vehement blow.

I aim for the side torsos... from behind... always rush past an atlas and then tango it from behind.

surely depends on the atlas' load out; if it's got a gauss make that go pop, or LRMs/SRMs hit the other side for ammo (who uses CASE). Or centre for the guaranteed kill.

Why topic? Atlas are 10x more easy to target than Stalkers. Ditto Awesomes.

Stalkers, like the Cicada, Jenner, Raven, and any of the "basketball, no armed" mechs are tough to target a specific location on because they are so compact your damage gets smeared around, and you pretty much have to wipe out the armor in all three locations to cut thru. Speaking head on that is.

Legs.

I exclaim "MY GOD!", back up about 20m and start firing PPCs below their minimum range.
