Will be palying on the EU Servers as soon as they are launched ( which will hopefully ASAP).
Low Ping+More people to paly with seals the deal for me.
(Although I really would have liked to meet some people from the Skjaldborg alongside me on the Battlefield. )

How much server space will there be on the Eu servers. Are we going to have to fight or wait long time to get placed into a match or log in after the game is finally released?

Love to run with you if you ever make it to the NA servers (well when ever the founders closed beta or open beta comes along, I've given up hope of making it into this early closed beta) I'm not too happy that everyone is being broken up by region but understand the need for decent connections to make the game fun. Our two GMT companies are going to be with us on the NA servers, we are hoping the ping and packet loss will be a minimum. The idea of splitting up the unit doesn't really seem too great to us.

right now no one knows, not even the dev's. They don't have anything set up other than a few early closed beta servers in canada. (that's even assuming the servers are in canada, but PGI is based there) NA servers are being negotiated for as I'm sure are EU and the other regions. I'd not expect us to hear much of anything until much closer to launch in a few months.

It would be nice if you could play cross-region with friends, but it would find nearby servers if you queued up solo.

In the last QA30 answers they say they plan on adding EU server during 2013.

I hope there will be an option as to witch server you que up to or you migh risk geting longer que times during low pop times on one or the other server
