Since the latest patch, sometimes when i want to start the game, the MWO Logo appears, then disappears. The patch window never opens.

If i click the link again, a window appears, informing me that an instance of the patcher is already running. Closing the process via task manager and repeating the process does not resolve the issue. The process will start, yet the patcher window will not appear.

Restarting the system or router, as well as getting a new IP does not resolve the issue.

Repeating the "start patcher - close process - start patcher again" procedure over and over will sometimes (after a considerable amount of time, say 30 - 40 tries) lead to the patcher starting.

Several of my friends reported the program behaving this way. All live in Germany like me.

I had this problem last night. First, I had to manually shut down the client, it had locked up on the black screen when I tried to close it within the program. Then when I attempted to start the client back up, I got the same issue the previous poster related. In my case, a system restart cleared up the issue.

I've got the exact same problem as the OP. Restarting the PC doesn't work!

Also, yesterday the game was patching even though I can't find any information on a new patch (and clicking the link to the patch notes opened a page for the bigger patch of last year).

I think that was a ninja patch, which only contained better mech textures and resources for the upcoming patch. But yeah, the issue persists. Do you also not live in North America?

Yes, I am from germany. But I am the only one among my german buddies that is experiencing this problem.

Yesterday I needed like 50 attempts until the game started, today I wasn't lucky yet.
