If you want a "Pay-to-Win"-Game then look at others. I think that PGI did at least a great job in not making a PtW-Game. If you say that´s a PtW-Game, you are playing another game. Or insane.

Sorry but I do not agree with all your cons. They are entirely your opinion.

Only thing I agree with is that they need to get their netcode fixed so they can add collision back in so all the light leg humpers either learn to pilot or fall flat on their face all day.

Every day that passes, with the game going further and further away from the image I had when I first signed up, is a day that I am thankful that I had the foresight to ditch the Founder's package back in Closed Beta.

In Closed Beta, I argued that the Devs needed to do 2 things before the game reached the MVP status needed to have a successful launch: Factions w/Chat and Improvements to the NetCode.

Not only did neither of these happen, the game has added more and more FPS features (such as game modes and the removal of R&R) and gone further and further away from developing a Community Warfare model that includes the entire community.

For those thinking that I'm bitter - no, just at work so it's easy to kill a bit of time on the forums once a week. TBH, this game was initially proposed in such a fashion that I had very high hopes - but basically everything that sounded good has been replaced by a really bad FPS title.

Care to explain what was wrong with the original knockdown mechanics other than the standing animations? Frankly I'd rather have that small issue back than the current lightfest. I simply should not be pleased about rounding a corner in my raven and finding an atlas.

Which is funny because the point of Beta is to complain.

you're suppose to fix the what we complain about.

Look at the LRM fix they gave us. -.1 damage reduction on LRMS. Meanwhile the MG is .07 damage, has a range of 90 and takes up 1 entire ballistic slot. NO ONE IS GOING TO CARRY THAT FOR ANY REASON EVER.

I think you're wrong to complain because this is General Discussion, not the Feedback forum.

If you guys gave even half a **** about helping the devs, you would email them well-thought out detailed suggestions and criticisms, rather than ***** attention by posting crap on the main forum.

Yeah welcome to June, July and August 2012. Were there the slightest evidence that the feedback loop had any bearing on features or direction I'm sure many more closed beta players would still be engaging.
