I've been running a Guass & Ultra AC/5 build since the summer, had great success with it. But I would like an Atlas as well with Ballistic hardpoints that aren't all grouped to a single location.

Its fine if PGI wants to make their own Hero Mechs, but I prefer the canon characters and the rides they piloted. Some of the custom variants don't have unique hard points, but I could care less, even if the Hero Mech has a spiffy paint job and a unit emblem, I would buy it. People aren't afraid to buy things in F2P that don't have any clear advantage that are merely cosmetic (LoL, DoTA).

The Atlas Samsonov, for instance, can made with existing Atlas variants and while he is an "Anti-Hero" people would still buy it if they can roll around in some badass warlord's Atlas. The Danielle would, on the otherhand, have unique hard points and, of course, Wolf's Dragoon colors/emblems. There are plenty more canon character mechs PGI could include as well.

Atlas Danielle please!

These random hero mechs need to stop, the story behind the muromets while shoddy at least had some substance. Flame and Fang however... I'd much rather get a mech of an actual hero that has customized hardpoints beyond lore then have them make up new characters on the fly, especially if they put as much effort into their stories as they did in flame and fang. Otherwise they are not hero mechs, they are just custom MC-only variants.

I'm not too familiar with the Danielles history but if its painted in the wolf's dragoons colors hell yes! That's a unit im very familiar with.

A lot of people bought the wang because it was a famous mech even though most realized just how bad it actually is. People bought the muromets because it can fit 3 ultra ac-5s.
