I'm an artist who specializes in 3D. For practice and for fun I am planning on making a mech model soon at least on par with what you see in the game. I am looking for suggestions about which mech to make. So if you have a suggestion for me about which mech I should tackle, I'd love to hear it. There are so many mechs to choose from that I'm having a hard time deciding which one I should do.

Half of what I would suggest would be unseen... so, avoiding that problem...

For Inner Sphere: Bushwacker.
For Clan: Bane (Kraken,) 10x UAC/2 version.

You need to do a Madcat from back in the day man.

Thus far I'm leaning towards the Madcat or Battlemaster... but I haven't made up my mind on that yet. I'm more inclined to do a chicken-walker style simply because I'm so fond of that setup for the legs. Still thinking about it though and more suggestions are welcomed.

If you want that all oldtimers want it:
Warhammer, Marauder

They are Iconic to us and Unseen, so very few Pictures on them.

But i think when you want something unique and that everybody likes:

Ahh yes... the Archer. Man there are so many nice looking mechs out there. That's an excellent suggestion too. I dig the Marauder too (used to be one of my favorites back in the day), but like you said... unseen... so maybe not the best choice.

Behemoth has an other name: HWR-00-Mk. II Monster Heavy Weight Destroid

It's an Macross mech too and has the same unseen status as the Archer.

And the Macross Mecha are one of the best Arts

Please just don't do something that looks like a big human though, please. I've seen enough of those in MWO and I want more of the designs that look unusual. You know, stuff like catapults, behemoths, Champions, ...

...They, just, you know, give you more ways to work with a more unusual silhouette and stuff, ...
Actually, while I'm at it, have you considered the Marauder (MAD-3R)? The one that copied the Glaug Battlepod
