Commerce Shop:

This would be an innersphere auction house. With salvage we collect from battle we can put up to auction. To purchase these items you would need commerce credits which we buy with real money but the kicker is we can turn in the credits for money as well. the devs essentially get a 10% cut on what we are trading between each other.

For example I (party a) acquire a shadow cat from a recent clan incursion. I repair it and put on for sale for 50,000 CC
someone (party :) buys it for that. I take my 50,000 CC and turn it in to the currency exchange unit and my account is credited back $5.

Party b had to pay $5.50 to get the 50,000 CC devs make 50 cents on the transaction.

hmm odd emoticon meant to be party b

Kind of an interesting idea, but I'm pretty sure that it's been confirmed that salvage won't be in MWO, and I think it would also be selling dominance on the battlefield for real money, which they've specifically said they will not do. Besides, with that system as you described it, users selling salvage would be making real money for playing the game free of charge, even though the people who buy their salvage would have to pay. Furthermore, this would invevitably lead to discreet salvage farming by people who would end up making lots and lots of real money in exchange for nothing more than their time.

Yeah, it comes down to simple math. You begin the game with a mech and components that you can instantly turn a profit by selling for at least a few million C-bills. No way the developers would do this.

Well, as an idea to make money, I have one, if not 20 for them to make bank.

1. Name change. 400 mc to change the stupid name you picked before you knew this game was awesome, even in an evil Jenner.BUT.......... have the aka x-names on their profile. In case they are dirtbags swear words.....

2. Solaris matches. 250 mc to enter. 10 entries. 1000 mc payout to final victor.

3.Bribes.... 100 mc bribe to get a favofable contract for mercs. (This is the Inner Sphere right?)

4. I have more lol
